Porn 2.0 (VIDEO!)
Turns out, even porn moguls are struggling these days.
Widespread piracy and free online videos create Ron Jeremy sized challenges for producers. Yet some entrepreneurs are creating bigger successes than ever. They’re pushing boundaries of how people experience porn. Who would have thought that porn dictates the leading edge of media technologies? But it’s true.
“If companies can’t sell enough product b/c it’s out there for free, well then they can’t afford to shoot it, actors don’t get hired, and on and on down. Unfortunately, the consumer doesn’t get that if they get it for free, illegally, regularly … eventually there are no companies around to make the product for them to find at all.”
A great case study, if you can look beyond the genre…and even if you can’t! ;)
